Tom Huck
Saint Louis-based printmaker Tom Huck launched his lauded press, Evil Prints, in 1995. The artist’s large-scale black and white woodcuts, often satirical in nature, are held in various public and private collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Spencer Museum of Art, Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, Saint Louis Art Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Fogg Art Museum and others. This is his first show at OneWay.
Commercially, Huck designed the cover art for the Roots' 2002 release, Phrenology. Other clients include Pabst Blue Ribbon and Art the Vote, for which Huck designed a billboard ad of an octopus in a cowboy hat during the 2008 presidential election.
