OneWay Gallery Narragansett and The Studio Miners are excited to announce new works by Boston-based artists Josh Falk and Dana Woulfe in their dual exhibition Depth of Feel. This exhibition showcases the individual and collaborative work of these two artists. The title of the show refers to the combination of the literal depth of field in Josh’s photography and the “feel” or emotion/energy often associated with Dana’s work.
Dana Woulfe is a visual artist living and working in Boston, MA. He is known for his vivid, abstract paintings and large scale mural work. A New England native, he grew up in Rhode Island and learned to appreciate the arts at a young age through the influence of his grandmother, an illustrator and painter. After moving to Boston in the mid-90′s to attend Massachusetts College of Art, he became involved in the local graffiti scene and developed an affiliation with the members of Project SF. As co-director of the Project SF artist collective he directed and exhibited at events worldwide, and worked with clients including Nike, Converse, Vitamin Water and Bodega. His solo and collaborative work has been shown around the world and has appeared in publications such as Juxtapoz, Booooooom, Inked, Acclaim and Sole Collector. Woulfe currently works out of his South Boston shop, Studio Fresh, where he continues to develop his visual
language and build towards what’s next.
Josh Falk is a Boston based mixed media artist. Born and raised in Leominster, MA he spent most of his time exploring the outdoors, skateboarding and painting graffiti, as well as woodworking with his grandfather. He attended the Art Institute of Phoenix and Fitchburg State College, before eventually moving to Boston. There, Falk began to use photography as a means to document his various urban explorations and it soon became his main creative focus. More recently his work has evolved to include collages, painting, and site-specific sculpture work.
Falk is also a founding member of the internationally recognized artist collective Project SF with whom he has created numerous collaborative projects.
